Once you have come up with a prompt in Image Generation, you can click the Template button up at the top.
That will bring up the following window, where you can actually save your Template. Public or Private just means whether it will show up in the "Image Templates" section for other people. If you want it to be able to be attached to a bot for chatting purposes, make sure that "Allow In-Chat Image Use" is turned on.
The photo you can upload should be one of the photos that you generated using the template.
Whatever prompts, models, mix-ins, settings, you used will automatically be exported into this. Once you're done everything and have named it, hit Save To Template.
If you want to change this template later, go back to the Image Templates section, then go over to My Templates. That will bring filter out so that it only shows your templates. From there you can use one back at the normal generator, or you can go into Edit by hovering over the card and hitting the pencil icon. If you need to make substantial edits, I suggest going into the normal generator with the template, doing your changes, make sure it works, and then save it as a new template and delete the old one.
Once you have your template saved, go either create a character, or edit one. Next to the profile picture, there is an option for Image Model. Click on this to bring up a new window. Here you can see your templates. Click on one to attach it, save the bot, and you're good to go. This bot can now generate images while in chat using the context of the messages!
