Subscriptions

An explanation of CharSnap's subscription system, starting with the basics.

The Basics

CharSnap offers a plethora of different subscription tiers, and while it can be a bit overwhelming, this guide will hopefully clear things up a little bit so you can make an informed decision!

Before anything else, I would like to discuss a couple of things. First of all, before subscribing, you will find this button on the bottom of the sidebar:

After subscribing, however, this button disappears and you can only access the subscription page through your Settings.

Click on your profile image/name in the top right corner.

You will need to click Change Plan to see the other plans, even if you don't plan on changing it.

As a secondary note, being subscribed to ANY TIER will give you access to extra profile decorations (with the ability to upload your own) and the ability to add custom gradient borders to your bots. To add a custom gradient to your bots like the ones below, edit the bot and find the "Character Border Colors/Gradients" field.

You can select two colors for this shifting gradient. People often pick colors that match the profile image of the bot or represent the character.

Pro-Tip: Pressing the eyedropper tool will allow you to pick a color from any active window on your desktop. The eyedropper tool REQUIRES A CHROMIUM BROWSER. Other browsers do not have the eyedropper tool; it is suggested that you use a chromium browser for CharSnap.

As for the extra profile decorations, you can change it by going to your Profile Settings and either uploading one or selecting one from the frames that are available.
