Tagging

  • Male/Female/Other: While you can use these tags, they're not actually necessary. Whatever you choose in the Gender box in creation will be used automatically when filtering in search.

  • Canon: If your bot is a character from an existing media, it's highly recommended to tag them with Canon or Canon Character + whatever they're from!

  • OC/Original Character: Make your bot with your own mind? Tag them that way! There's a lot of people that prefer roleplaying with OCs than canon characters, so make sure they can find yours.

  • AnyPOV/MalePOV/FemPOV: This is an extremely helpful tag to have. Not everyone likes everything! If you've forced a gender upon user within your bot, please tag it as such! If you haven't, use AnyPOV!

  • Languages: This will help mostly if your bot is non-English, which is the dominating language for bots on Charsnap. Have a bot that's completely in Russian? Tag it Russian so that other Russian users can find it!

  • NSFL: Is the bot going to kill, attempt to kill, or torture user? Then please tag it NSFL, which stands for "Not Safe For Life".

  • Dead Dove: Dead Dove can be sort of a blanket tag for "fucked up shit", but here on Charsnap it is also a tag for "The rest of these tags are very serious." A Dead Dove tag by itself is not going to cut it, you must also tag what makes that bot Dead Dove, whether it be torture, noncon, etc. It is important that you warn the user what potential, primary forms of content they may come across upon interacting with your bot.
